Cedar Valley Catholic Schools offer families a faith-based solution for individual child development, starting from birth with our childcare center, all the way through grade 12. We offer out students outstanding instruction with our low teacher/student ratios.
The graduation rate at CVCS is 100 percent and approximately 60% of our families receive STO assistance for tuition and fees. Many of our students go on to top tier colleges and universities and others find their next path in the tech schools through trades programs. CVCS has many highly qualified staff to help students find the path that is right for the individuals student's goals.
Cedar Valley Catholic Schools aligns content instruction to the Iowa Core Curriculum and partner with a variety of educational agencies to ensure that students are receiving a rigorous, standards-driven curriculum. A variety of elective programs offered include music/band, art, physical education, foreign language, and STEM programs. To ensure our students have access to technology for learning, CVCS provides a One-to-One Apple IPad Program (K-12). Our student/teacher ratio is 11:1 at the high school, 17:1 at the middle school, and 20:1 at the elementary school.

Along with our classroom teachers and high school campus ministers, students plan and participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and service projects throughout the school year. Our schools are based on faith traditions include the Saint Francis of Assissi Pet Blessing, Stations of the Crib, May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin, Living Rosary, and All Schools Mass.
Cedar Valley Catholic Schools works with Waterloo Catholic Faith Formation to prepare students for Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
